Seminar: “Teaching English for Specific Purposes”

February 27 @ 17:30 - 19:00

We are glad to announce a series of seminars devoted to teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP). During 4 meetings in February and March we are going to discuss various issues concerned with types of ESP including Academic English, Business English and Legal English, challenges in teaching ESP and how to overcome them. At the end of the series we will have a mini-conference (in TED talks format) where you will be able to present your ideas related to ESP.

We welcome anyone interested in the topic and believe it would benefit both secondary school teachers and university professors and learners of English as well. It is recommended that participants’ level of English is intermediate or above.
