With the onslaught of AI and the seemingly endless number of unreliable content providers online, media literacy has become an essential life skill. The Media Literacy Essentials series offers a four-week, eight-session boot camp geared to help young professionals add key media literacy tools into their skillset. Participants will study examples of misinformation and learn how to: use digital verification methods to identify false images; employ fact-checking sources to verify or debunk content; identify biases in their information feeds. Participants will come away with essential tools to detect misinformation and responsibly create and share information online.
