Meet virtually once a month with our Russian guests — students and graduates of American universities, who will give their answers to the question: Why study in the US: Obvious Pros and Cons. 

Today our guest speaker is Alsu Gilmetdinova, Director of the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies at Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N.Tupolev-KAI. Alsu holds MA in English language arts from Montana State University and a PhD in Literacy and language education from Purdue University. During her time in the USA she worked as a Research assistant and Teaching assistant for courses, such College Writing, Literacy in the primary classroom. She has been the head of the Career Fair and Grants committees in the Purdue Graduate Student Government, and a graduate student liaison representing International students in various university bodies and committees.
