If you have been learning English and wondered: how to turn my passive vocabulary into active vocabulary? What resources can help me expand my vocabulary? How can I go from Intermediate to Advanced and strengthen my C1-level English proficiency? Then AMC’s new English Vocabulary Club will guide you in finding answers to these questions!
English Vocabulary Club will focus on practice and useful resources, which will help you develop a habit of working on your English daily and provide you with tools to widen your English vocabulary. We will also use authentic reading materials as sources of advanced academic vocabulary that will make your speech and writing more expressive and persuasive.
These biweekly sessions are best suited for teenagers and young adults with Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate levels.
Led by: AMC volunteer Daria Tsvetkova. Daria is a senior student at Lomonosov Moscow State University and a YEAR Program alumna (Black Hills State University, SD).
The number of places in each session is limited. The registration for each session is on a first-come-first-served basis, and once the available places for a session are gone, they are gone. If you decide not to attend, make sure you cancel your registration so as to let someone else take part instead.
