What pops up in your mind when you hear the word startup? A newly opened coffee shop around the corner, an account on social networks with self-made cosmetics, or your favourite website where you can buy clothes? Or is it just another buzzword people use to describe a new company? If you’ve worked in the tech industry, or are at least familiar with the space, then you’ve probably known entrepreneurs who launched startups. But still, what type of companies can be called startups, and how are they different from small businesses or large corporations?

1-hour deep-dive into startups will answer these questions. The talk will be interesting for everyone interested in the field or if you have ever dreamed of becoming the next Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker: Simon Litvinov — CEO and co-founder of Precision Navigation Systems startup. Apart from his main job Simon helps startup founders to deal with idea validation, business modelling, and pitching as a mentor of Tehnopol Business Incubator and Startup Wise Guys Accelerator.
