Arduino Course with Brandon Peart

Join us on Monday, December 14th, at 5 p.m. for the second workshop with our tech expert Brandon Peart, where we will continue to play and invent with Arduino circuit board.

During our first class we tried to wrap our heads around an interactive thermostat for “smart home”. This time our project will be less complicated, but much more fun: Brandon will explain how the Arduino can be used to program “holiday lights.” This project is ideal for learning the basics of coding.  We will walk you through writing several scripts for holiday lights and creating animations of different patterns.

Brandon Peart, a tech enthusiast, tinkerer and hobbyist, will explain how to use the hardware (the board, resistors, temperature sensors, etc.) and the software (Arduino IDE‘s programming language).
