Lecture: Alexander II and Abraham Lincoln

Are you interested in American and Russia history? Join our new lecture series where you will learn about the historic events and outstanding personalities of Russia and the U.S.

Today we are discussing Alexander II and Abraham Lincoln: The Tsar and The President. We will be talking about the Civil War and Emancipation Proclamation in the U.S. and the Emancipation Reform of 1861 in Russia.

The lecture is led by Ksenia Sepas, REA student and Maria Aristovskaya, RANEPA student and AMC Volunteers and will be of interest to students of cross-cultural, historical and linguistic studies as well as to everybody interested in the history of two countries.
