Lecture “American Accents”

This is the second lecture in the series «American Accents».

Is there a “Standard American English”? And who speaks StAmE? Well, ask any Midwestern and they will say that they speak perfect English without any accent. However, they are not entirely right. Learn more about a “Standard” Midwestern English tonight at the American Center in Moscow.

Led by Alina Korshunova, AMC Coordinator, Fulbright Alumna. Alina holds a bachelor’s degree in theoretical and applied linguistics from Pyatigorsk State University and a master’s degree in linguistics from Eastern Michigan University.
