Legal issues are important but seem to be complicated and boring for you? This lecture will help you understand how business settings are supposed to run so that no room for delusion is left.

During the lecture we will discuss contract work tax issues, that help to control company`s financial security.

Then will turn to peculiarities of common and civil law systems with special emphasis on arranging contracts.

And finally we will discuss disputes resolution and international law application in different circumstances.

Then we are approaching huge domain of intellectual property law –we will start with discussing relationship between law and technology with a strong focus on the law of the United States with some comparisons to laws around the world, especially in Europe. Technology also matters as it often establishes the framework in which governments interact with their citizens, both in allowing speech and blocking it and in establishing exactly what the boundaries are between private life and the government.

We will learn what is protected by law and what might be used for free; also, you will learn how to sue negligent companies for spamming.

No specific knowledge and skills are required.
