Lecture: “History of the U.S. Foreign Policy”
Описание мероприятия
Come and join us at the American Center in Moscow for our new, month long program, on the history of American foreign policy, delivered by Lomonosov Moscow State University Master’s student, Dennis S. Allen. Over the course of the next month, we will break down four main eras of American foreign policy, the ideologies and events that motivated these shifts, and the presidents who implemented the policies themselves. We will speak about how events such as the American Civil War, the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, and 9/11 all served to change the American priorities in foreign policy and what role it would play among the nations of the world. If you are interested in the answers to any of these questions, please join us every Friday evening during the month of August. We hope to see you there!
Led by Dennis Allen, AMC Intern. Dennis is originally from the city of Las Vegas in the United States. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2017 with an undergraduate degree in International relations and is currently studying to receive his Master’s at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where he specializes in conflict studies and diplomacy in the post-Soviet space. Dennis hopes to work in a capacity that would allow him to help bridge the gap between the Russian and American people by promoting understanding of each others histories and needs.
