The U.S. Embassy in Moscow and American Center invite you to a presentation “Musical exchange between the Soviet Union and the U.S.” by Fulbright Scholar Matthew Honegger.

Matthew Honegger is a graduate student at the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures  at Princeton University. His research project is titled: «VOKS and Soviet-U.S. Music Exchange, 1925-1957», where he argues that political and organizational situations on both sides turned the possibility of exchange of ideas between Soviet and American musicologists into a missed opportunity.
