Lecture on George Gershwin

This lecture is about one of the most significant and popular American composers of all time — George Gershwin — and his musical legacy. He wrote music primarily for Broadway. His orchestral and piano compositions are particularly interesting, as he blended the techniques and forms of classical music with the stylistic nuances and techniques of popular music and jazz.
