Lecture: «Third Industrial Revolution»

Fed up with mass consumption goods, we start to miss personal, customized products. The Third Industrial Revolution will present a shift from mass production back to personal manufacturing, only with a new twist – digital dimension. The lecture will explain the notions of digital manufacturing, "home-made" 3D-printing, fabrication laboratory and how these concepts will change our everyday life.

The speaker, Vladimir Kuznetsov, is the founder and director of the laboratory of digital manufacturing FabLab – a joint project of the National Research Technological University "MISIS" and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
