At Sub Rosa Baker, Evin and her brother Evrim are committed to their goal of crafting high quality breads and pastries in a sustainable manner, milling local grains in-house and baking them in a rustic wood-fired oven. Their dedication to putting whole grains on the table has made Sub Rosa Bakery a favorite among Richmond locals.

About the Speaker:

Evin Dogu, a child of Turkish immigrants and a Louisiana native, is the co-owner and baker at Sub Rosa, a wood fired bakery and stone-milling operation located in Richmond ,Virginia. Known for turning out some of the country’s best breads, Sub Rosa has been a semi-finalist multiple times for the James Beard Award for Outstanding Bakers.
