Are you a student or a working professional who find yourself in the need to brush up on English? Did you come across having to submit an important document or schedule a meeting over the phone in English but were not entirely sure how to? No matter your age or the stage of your career, if you are starting college abroad, traveling to an international conference, or applying for a job in the US, this seminar is just what you are looking for. Over the course of a month, you will get exposed to the formal side of English, in terms of certain vocabulary, polite phrases, and culture. You will learn how to act and respond to any situation in a professional environment, how to use formal writing, and how to speak in front of an audience. For every class, there will be assigned homework, for which you will receive extensive feedback. This will be a series of five to six classes. The scope of the seminar depends on what you would like to learn and what business situations would be useful to you. Bring all your ideas and suggestions to the pilot class to include them into our curriculum! All are welcome.
