Translation and interpretation from one language into another is a great skill. The “correct” translation of one word or expression can cause indefinite debate. This series of workshops offers participants the opportunity to learn and discuss techniques and tips for English to Russian/Russian to English translations. Led by Petimat Solt, AMC Volunteer. 

This week we will continue practicing translating part of Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray." 

Each meeting will focus on a different genre, such as anecdotes and wordplay; poems and songs; news articles; advertisements; idioms; scientific texts, manuals and user guides; and much more. Participants will participate in translation activities and peer feedback.
