Young Writers Club

Come and join our Young Writers Club!  In these weekly classes, we will discuss ways to improve your writing through storyboards, outlines, character development, scene structure, and plot development. Feel free to bring your previously written pieces to share for feedback from the group.

The club is open to teenagers (ages 10-15) with A2 level of English (and above) who enjoy writing.

The club is led by Jehan Jones-Radgowski. Jehan is a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. She has lived all over the world, including the Dominican Republic, Germany, Ghana, South Africa, Spain, and Venezuela.  She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She is the author of The Escape of Robert Smalls:  A Daring Voyage out of Slavery, and John Lewis: Get to know the Statesman Who Marched for Civil Rights. Later in 2020, her biographies on Harriet Tubman and Booker T. Washington will be released. Jehan works for the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and lives here with her family and a very old Собачка.
