Amplifying the Voices of the Underserved Through Art | A Conversation with Ghanaian-American visual artist & muralist Kwadwo Adae

Join us on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 8:00 PM Moscow time to commemorate  International Artist Day with Ghanaian-American visual artist, muralist, and arts educator Kwadwo Adae, who will discuss the importance of creating public art that amplifies the voices of the underserved. An award-winning collaborative public artist, Adae has created seventeen murals in Connecticut and has spearheaded international collaborative mural projects with children in India, Guatemala, and Ecuador. After earning his Masters in Painting from New York University in 2005, he became the Founder and Director of Adae Fine Art Academy in New Haven, Connecticut, an independent art school that specializes in the individualized instruction of drawing and painting to children, teenagers, and adults.
