In partnership with RELO, the American Center in Moscow invites English language teachers from around Russia to come together every other Thursday at 6 PM MSK, from Feb 8-April 25, for an interactive webinar/workshop series on the importance of resilience and social-emotional learning in building strong educators and communities. You’ll come away feeling more supported and likely more joyful about your teaching practice, too. We hope to see you there!
This series will share activities and resources for educators to support their personal resilience, to create supportive school and classroom environments, and to develop English lessons that foster problem-solving and resilience-building among their students. Sessions will focus on key terms for building stronger communities as well as strategies for teachers to not only avoid burnout but to thrive in their schools and professional roles.
Who: Primary and secondary school teachers throughout Russia
What: Six free 90-minute sessions*
When: Every other Thursday at 6PM MSK, beginning Feb 8, 2024–April 25
Note: We will not be meeting March 28 or April 4

Why: Because sometimes you feel burned out on teaching and need support
