The Disability and Difference in the English Language Classroom: Implementing the Principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) workshop series, presented by the American Center Moscow, featured English Language Specialist Rosa Dene David. Throughout this nine-part professional development program, participants explored the principles of Universal Design for Learning and learned practical strategies for creating more inclusive and equitable English language classrooms. Through hands-on workshops, teachers designed and adapted classroom activities, assessments, and lesson plans using UDL principles, while building a shared resource bank of inclusive teaching materials to support English language learners with diverse learning needs.
