Welcome, USG Exchange Alumni!

You have valuable knowledge and experience to share—and we want to help you share it!

Sharing is Daring

Please bookmark this page (and check back often!) as we’re always adding new opportunities for you to share what you’ve learned through your exchange experience with others. This page is also a space to highlight your pursuits and accomplishments, so please keep us informed about what you’re doing out there in the world!

Programs

Panel discussions, shop talks, workshops, webinars … we host these events (and more!) specifically for alumni of exchange programs. To make sure you don’t miss out, sign up for our Alumni Newsletter and you’ll be among the first to know when new events are posted.

Video Collections

Many of your fellow alumni have parlayed their exchange experiences into informative and thoughtful webinars, presentations, panel discussions, and more. We’ve compiled them here and hope that this resource will inspire you to create a video teaching experience of your own!

Book Collections

Our online library is stocked with free books and magazines that will inspire self-improvement, guide you in the arts of job hunting and career development, be a better and more effective manager, and stay on top of the latest business trends, among many other things!

Check out our collection and then borrow a book. It’s free! All you need to do is create an account and sign in!

Opportunities for Alumni

We hope that you see your exchange experience as the beginning of a beautiful and fulfilling journey—a path that leads to more exciting opportunities, deeper connections, and continued growth. We are here to support you along your path by introducing you to useful resources, facilitating further connections across Russia and the world, and providing opportunities for you to share your knowledge with AMC audiences and in your own communities.

Alumni Support Program

Did your exchange experience fill your head with ideas about how you can serve your community? Do you have a great public service project you’d like to propose? (If not, put on your “thinking cap!” We’re always open to hearing your ideas!) Whatever your ideas, tell us about them! Part of the reason we exist is to support YOU in utilizing the skills and knowledge you gained through your exchange experience!

Proposed projects must address one of the following themes:
English teaching and learning (youth and adults)
Cultural and professional exchanges between the US and Russia
Innovation
S.T.E.A.M. and the Maker Movement
Diversity and Inclusion
Business and entrepreneurship

Applicants do not necessarily need to reside in Moscow and can implement projects under American Center overall guidance in their home regions. Creativity is encouraged!

Each year, we have an open call for applications and we choose several projects to support. Sign up for our newsletter and be among the first to know when our next call is announced!
