Workshop: Art & Design
We are pleased to announce a series of workshops devoted to graphic design and art history. Workshops will cover skills and topics such as: design principles, basics of color theory, composition, and art history.
During our classes you will learn compositional principles behind line, shape, texture, form and their combinations; learn collage technique, paper modeling, and the use of color wheel; get the relevant historic overview of modern art and design movements.
This workshop is open to everyone who is interested in the areas of design and art history and would like to maximize own creative potential, enrich knowledge of designing, visual language systems and history of art.
Space is limited to 15-20 participants.
Led by Мaria Shevchuk, a student of Culturology (Cultural Studies) at the Russian State University for the Humanities. Maria’s research interests and expertise include art history, color theory, design and media art.
