Creative Slow Reading Club

In our fast-paced world where we are quickly skimming through news, texts and books without spending time on reading them fully, many of us have lost the ability to read. Join us for this new club to practice reading more effectively in English. We will look at individual pieces, focus on them and bring together logical and creative thinking. Using poems and short stories, your understanding of English and its beautiful nuances will become enriched, which will simultaneously help your everyday speech and writing skills.

This club will be led by Margarita Shcheglova, who is a graduate of the Literary Institute of Moscow and alumna of the U.S. Between the Lines program at the University of Iowa. She has had many works published in the U.S. and U.K. as well as a book of poetry, "The More The Merrier."
