Lecture: Joseph Stalin and Franklin D. Roosevelt

These lectures will lead you through historical similarities and differences, Russian and American culture, architecture, and history. 

Today we are discussing Joseph Stalin and Franklin D. Roosevelt. These two men led their countries through the horrors of the Second World War and the Great Depression. Find out the policies they implemented and how their legacy has shaped their respective countries. In this lecture you will hear not only about Stalin’s and Roosevelt’s biographies but also about key moments of the Second World War and the Great Depression. Some smart exercises are included!

The lecture is led by Ksenia Sepas, REA student and Maria Aristovskaya, RANEPA student and AMC Volunteers and will be of interest to students of cross-cultural, historical and linguistic studies as well as to everybody interested in the history of two countries.
