MOOC: Professional Development for Teacher Trainers

If you are an English Teacher looking for professional development opportunities, then sign up for the Professional Development for Teacher Trainers MOOC, provided by Arizona State University, as part of the American English (AE) E-Teacher Program.

This MOOC, designed for both new and experienced teachers, gives participants methods for creating, presenting, and evaluating effective teacher training workshops. You will gain tools and techniques for promoting professional development in your teaching context. Through participation in this course, you will develop your skills for delivering engaging and relevant teacher trainings.

We are excited to also offer weekly in-person sessions at the American Center to supplement this course. These sessions are free and will be taught by Johanna Campbell, English Language Fellow at MISiS University, and Rachel Koch of Higher School of Economics, both in Moscow, who will each week during the duration of this class conduct additional activities corresponding with the MOOC program. You will be able to meet, discuss the course content together, practice the new knowledge that you are gaining and keep each other motivated to complete the five-week program.

NOTE: These sessions are for participants who are enrolled in the MOOC.
