Talk: “The European Refugee Crisis”

By the end of 2017, there were more than 65 million forcibly displaced people as a result of war and conflict. Of those 65 million people, 25.4 million are refugees. The ongoing conflict in Syria and other parts of the world is creating enormous displacement, with many fleeing to Europe for a better life. The European Refugee Crisis has had an enormous impact all over the world. In this presentation, we will begin to understand the very basics such as:

Who is a refugee? Which countries are refugees going to? Which countries are refugees leaving? Why are they fleeing? What are the challenges that refugees face?
