The English Through ’90s American Pop Culture conversation series, presented by the American Center Moscow, featured English Language Specialist Elizabeth (Liz) Martinez. Throughout the series, participants explored American culture through iconic television shows, films, music, comics, and major cultural events of the 1990s while strengthening their English communication skills. Each session combined authentic pop culture content with interactive discussions, vocabulary development, idiomatic expressions, and cultural exploration, helping participants build confidence in speaking English while gaining a deeper understanding of one of America’s most influential decades.
