The American Center at the U.S. Embassy is a welcoming, dynamic space that encourages dialogue, offers opportunities for professional development, and inspires collaboration around shared Russian and U.S. values. Our unique program offerings are authentically American and strive to increase people-to-people engagement by instilling good will and deepening mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the Russian Federation. We are always looking for partners and volunteers who can help us further our goals of promoting open dialogue and cultural exchange.
Volunteers are an important part of the American Center and help us in many integral ways. They come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and can be native English speakers or non-native speakers with a good command of English. (Some experience living in the U.S. is preferred).
We are always happy to welcome qualified volunteers to help with programs
- English Conversation activities
- Makerspace Innovation Lab
- Program and Club Activities
- American Center Circulation Duties
- And much more…
If you are interested in joining our team of volunteers, please fill out the volunteer interest form below. We will contact you when there are openings for volunteer positions.
I'm your personal assistant and I'll help you find what you’re looking for at the American Center. We have "AMC Online | Franklin D. Roosevelt's Four Freedoms Speech - Freedom of Religion" on 30 November (on Monday). Would you like to visit it?
