The best way to learn is to make learning fun, which is exactly what this club is all about! We’re currently playing Codenames, Scattergories, and Skribbl, games that encourage participants to express and defend their opinions, come up with arguments, and/or use creativity and concept identifying skills.
Codenames—Through deduction and word association, teammates try to guess the identities of 25 secret agents. Win or lose, it’s fun to figure out the clues!
Scattergories—This game really tests your vocabulary, not to mention your ability to come up with answers quickly. It’s fast, fun, and furious!
Skribbl—Choose your word, draw a picture of it, and if your teammate guesses what it is in time, you get a point!
Mafia—also known as Werewolf, is a Russian social deduction game created by Dimitry Davidoff in 1986. This game encourages creativity, critical thinking, and lively debate.
Open to: 16+ with intermediate to advanced English language skills
