Open to: Experienced EFL teachers. See full list of eligibility requirements.
Applications: Currently closed, but will reopen in 2023

Are you currently a secondary-level, full-time teacher with at least three years of classroom experience in English or English as a Foreign Language (EFL)? Do you want to improve your teaching skills and learn about life in the U.S.? Then the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (FTEA) program was designed with you in mind!

During this six-week-long program, you will work with American teachers and students during a two-week internship in an American school, learn a variety of new teaching methods, and take part in cultural and social activities to learn more about the United States. Upon returning home, FTEA program alumni are eligible to apply for small grants for essential teaching materials, follow-on training for other teachers, collaborative projects between schools in their home country and the United States, and other activities that build on their experience in the program.
